Labat Spirits Zurich

When we opened our shop in 2012 in the vibrant Kreis 4 in Zurich, our range was heavily focused on rum - hence the reference to "Père Labat". This Dominican monk worked in the 17th century in the French Antilles and influenced rum production with his innovative distilling equipment..

Until 2007, cars were still repaired in these premises, after which the gallery "Freymuth-Guth" exhibited ambitious young art until our spirits shop opened its doors for the first time on 15 November 2012. The venerable pharmacy furniture comes from Tuttlingen in the Black Forest and was crafted in 1906.

Today, we offer a huge selection of spirits from around the world in the shop and online. We import many of our products ourselves from various countries and work with internationally connected trading partners as well as Swiss producers, bottlers, and importers. We prefer independent, innovative producers with high quality. Our goal is a diverse and exciting selection – that’s why we also continually develop and produce our own products.

In the shop on Brauerstrasse, you will find an even greater variety than online – limited editions, rare Single bottles and new products that are sometimes gone again before they appear online.
